First Girls Session for college recruiting

Century V Girls 15-18 Teams,

I am proud to announce the 3rd evening of our College Recruitment Series and the first for the Century V Girls 15’s-18’s. In just two weeks with the Century V Boys teams, we welcomed in the head coaches from Duquesne University, St. Francis University, Slippery Rock University, Seton Hill University, Penn State Behrend, and Laroche College.  I look forward to continuing this very personalized series for the Century V 15-18 female players.  The first evening of the series will be held on Thursday January 21st from 7-8:30 in the conference room of Cool Springs.  This is an “INVITE ONLY” event designated for Century V female players (15-18) and will welcome in the players on those teams and their parents.

I would like your daughter to bring a notebook and a pen to write down information as well as come prepared with any questions about the college recruiting process that they might have.  The process for submitting questions will be: parents to manager and then manager to me by noon on Monday January 18th.  I can compile and sort through these questions and share these with the coaches to address the girls if appropriate.

I ask that all players in attendance wear their gray Century V warm up shirt along with black warm up pants.

This first part of the series of the girls’ side welcomes in four different coaches from different levels of collegiate soccer: John Kowalski from NCAA Division 1 Robert Morris University, Brian Shrum from NCAA Division 1 Duquesne University, Jamie Sallie from NCAA Division 2 Edinboro University, and Patrick O’Driscoll from NCAA Division 3 Penn State Behrend.  This is to give a comprehensive recruiting perspective to the older female players in our club (15s-18s).

I look forward to seeing you at the third evening of the series, the first for our female players, and hope it continues to provide information, direction, and service to our teams.

Best Regards,

Larry Fingers
